Day of Prayer: Meet One Wednesday per month on a study of Walking with Dorothy Day. She had a passionate love for the poor, the outcast, and the downtrodden. She was a radical, a suffragist, and outspoken critic of the establishment. She was considered by many to be the most influential Roman Catholic of her time. The presence of Christ among the poor reminds us of the divine ethic to serve those who hunger, for in doing so we serve Christ. Introduction to Dorothy Day & Turning to God begins the series. We will meet at 9:15am - 2:00pm with the option to stay for quiet prayer time until 4:00pm. The suggested donation is $18.00. The option to stay over the night before is also available for an extra fee.
